Marketing Collateral - Councils
I regularly work for local councils to help them build up a catalogue of images for their marketing materials. Recently I have done a lot of work with community child care centres in particular, church daycare, multicultural daycare and in home daycare.
Working with young children can be tricky as they get bored very quickly and don't yet have that desire to pose for you or to be photographed. All they want to do is play, which is wonderful but can lead to a lot of heads down, lots of backs of heads and the occasional tantrum if you disrupt them too much.
As a photographer you are also a complete stranger to them, one who carries a big object with a flashy light on it. So it can take a little time until the children warm to you and start to forget you are there or are willing to give you a little smile or sit in the particular position you would like them to. But we always get there in the end.
Please have a look at some of the work I have recently produced for councils such as City of Glen Eira, Darebin City Council, City of Moonee Valley and City of Greater Dandenong. These images will be used online, in print including , booklets, pamphlets, postcards and for Pull Up Banners.
